Canadian DJ and Producer Francis Bousquet has carved out a niche for himself in the world of progressive psy. He has a contemporary psy sound with his use of effects and clean production but the style and mood of his tracks is reminiscent of late 90s progressive house where the track takes its time in a constantly evolving and mind altering trip.
Black Marvin lays out a hypnotic groove with hallucinogenic effects and vocal samples punctuating the rhythm. Black Marvin says of the track No More is really about personal growth, removing fear from our lives and when you dive fully into the beauty of things everything falls into place. In the track you can hear David Icke's voice that I sampled talking about fear being an illusion. We think Black Marvin nailed it.
