Lifestylus are Paul Goodyear and Nathan G who together have worked on numerous projects, one of the most recent being a remix of the new
Taylor Dane single.
The 'Original Mix' starts with it's trippy swirling bass and drum and bass style whoomp effects dropping into a head's down percussion drive,
reverb effected drum patterns punctuating the bassline as wild filtered key changes make things get interesting indeed within the break and as the track
reaches it's climax.
An interesting cut that has gained appeal from across the board, but it just lacks that certain something to make it great.
Kasey Taylor dons his 'Katai' guise on the flip, reworking the track into a more progressively minded direction, a distored sub bass effect running through
the bassline, and swirling effects and vox samples fusing intricatly with the drum arrangements creating a more appealing remix that blows the original clean
out of the water, but based on the background history of the man on the mix, is that any wonder?
