You might not think you're familiar with Kramer, but chances are you've heard his music before.
Better known as Larrson, the Berlin-based DJ/producer has released a series of acclaimed 12's on esteemed labels like Traum Schallplatten and
BPitch Control. He now adopts the Kramer guise to deliver a 3-track EP of smart electroinfluenced and minimal house on Berlin's Get Physical.
Kramer's first forays into music were as a singer, guitarist and songwriter; it was hearing BPitch boss Ellen Allien DJ for the first time that inspired
him to make and play electronic music. His rock/funk prehistory is subtly apparent in the EP's A1, 'Runner', which begins with a warm, rounded kick and busy,
clicking percussion before urgent hi-hats and a hard snare sound take over and aim the tune squarely at the dancefloor. The centrepiece of the track, though,
is a synth riff that summons a taste of vintage electro, while sounding purely 2007
