Trentemoeller has composed a beautiful remix...
...which works as well when it is heard as a separate piece of music at home as it does in a DJ set.
While the original of 'Djinns' was released on Danish label EMI Capitol three years ago, Get Physical have delivered a package of remixes that will get
everyone playing this haunting theme!
First up is Trentemoeller, the Danish on fire producer drops an epic, tranced out version that sounds like a true Balearic anthem, but which also uses the
original track's acoustic guitar riff.
First up on the flipside ist he upcoming Berlin act My My get their hands on 'Djinns', and their version pushes in a radically different direction:
bringing the track back to basics, their shuffling drums and acidic licks have a sleazy rawness that will appeal to any DJ who likes trippy, stripped back
club grooves that make nods to Chicago house.
Last but not least you'll get the Def Jaguar version, which centres on a murky bassline and has a moody tone from the outset. However, this remix isn't
short of funk and its combination of sexy, bleepy groove and atmospheric chords means that it offers light as well as shades of darkness. This version will
have a devastating effect in big rooms as well as intimate clubs.
