The original swirls electro funk, disco and Italo fragments into an organic-sounding whole complete with breathy stabs and handclaps. With
vocals inspired by Tom Tom Club this is has a tongue-in-cheek party vibe. Robbie Insinna takes two guises; Headman for the more nu wave, rock influenced
productions and Manhead for the more disco, Italo inspired, electro sounds.
His Manhead's 'Robi's rave' remix sounds like in the middle between these two alter egos, it features low sub bass and clicking hi hats from
the off combing with thumping drums and all the original vocal parts. A strong rave feel is created as he twists the key of the melody to push the remix to a
crescendo. Flipping over, Putsch 79 also take things more forward than we might commonly expect with a percussive heavy remix. Grooving disco beats and looped
melody meet slapping percussion and beguiling space sounds, to entice us out for.
