After the great reception to his recent collaboration with Rowan Blades, John Graham returns with...
...a new solo single as Quivver. Picking up where 'Not Givin Up' left off, 'Dancing In Dark Rooms' is another vocal-led track where Graham
lets someone other than himself take centre stage, and the reactions from the usual suspects so far have caused quite a bit of anticipation, particularly with
the inclusion of a remix from man of the moment Jim Rivers.
The original version has all the usual trademark Quivver elements flowing throughout. From the quantized beats, the deep bass sounds, through to the
awesome key changes and a layered vocal lead, the track is extremely well polished and very effective on the dancefloor, and is one of Quivver's best tracks
yet without question.Jim Rivers provides the remix, and his stripped back sound adds a very interesting tangible to 'Dancing In Dark Rooms'. Keeping the vocal
elements and base to a sparse minimum, Rivers fills things out with some great techy rhythms and sweeps, adding both warmth and depth to the mix, with a great
underground interpretation being the end result.
'Dancing In Dark Rooms' is another must for Quivver fans. and with the addition of a terrific remix from Jim Rivers will no doubt become a firm favourite
of DJs over the coming months.
