Kris B's production debut came when he collaborated with Nosmo (formerly of Grayarea)...
...on what would become the debut Grayarea single 'One For The Road'. Since then hes gone on to appear on many other labels, with a range of
new releases and remixes on labels that include Anjuna Beats and Pure Substance, such is the range and diversity of his sound.
'Dirty Meat' marks his return to the fore on a prominent label, the excellent Babylon imprint.Kris' penchant for pumping grooves and tight beats shines
through on the 'Original Mix', a solid template being forged from the early going of the track. As the track progresses, floating melodies and layered keys
are woven into the mix, and the introduction of a fat bassline and glock-style snares only serve to increase the energy level higher and further.
LeRon and Yves Eaux strip things back, turning in a deep, dubbed out version of the track. Utilising the original's beats, they forge a shape shifting
arrangement of melody and percussion that captures your attention early on and then refuses to let go. An extremely effective DJ tool and guaranteed reaction
creator.
Babylon keeps on going strong, and with an EP of brand new original material from one of the best Greek exports in the form of Dousk to come in the near
future, the label shows no signs of easing off the pedal anytime soon.
