A DVD in production for two years with film from five festivals, animations, special FX and music from around the globe. From the mystical beach of Byron Bay, Australia and Mt Warning to a celebration of 7000 happy doofers at 'Millenni-YUM'.

Forced out of the Byron shire by multiple authorities, the festival moved west to the top of the great dividing range to Bald Rock Bush Retreat, 5kms from Australia's second biggest rock, Bald Rock. On lake Odyssey at midnight Saturday, Buko burns the island ghost gum tree, eagles fly overhead as Tsuyoshi Suzuki finishes the 'Odyssey 2001' with an electronic subsonic ambience, leaving a thousand happy smiles. The road home expresses many a new dream, through this beautiful country the post-human camera flies back to the coast.

The dream festival 'Exodus'2002 was phonomenology and a week of raw exhilaration. Mixing multimedia into the physically challenging landscape with a crew of musically minded community from around the globe, the festival became deeper. All kinds of sub kultjah happenings from 'intra cortex psychedelic circus' to children dressed as endangered species dancing like us older party animals. The line up was even more eclectic and durable, the crowd was around the 2000 minds level with all having an extraordinary time with the most pure Australian trance music festival pumping sounds you never dreamed possible right through your tent!

A year later 'Exodus' 2003 took it another level and entertained 3500 Happy People in a veritable noosphere, post mad max neo subversive technosonic pirates from around the globe flying rainbow tribe colours in a cyberdelic movement of the ppl. This line up is pushed over the top by Growling Mad Scientists from Ibiza and so many fire dancers it was smelling like the set of Apocalypse Now.

In 2004 a ghost Exodus is held in the 'Hacienda' with Medicine Drum and many other tight live acts that gave the Hacienda a night of visual and people magic, that is hard to explain with out the use of mind bending animations. The event was smaller and very intimate, enclosed within the open top mountain hacienda walls a sweet Spanish castle magic unleashed a spirit or two into the sky of galaxies. The dream is completely a dream within a dream where you dream that you're awake; the director is silently stepping about like the bird tribes have returned. We exit the Hacienda in a three state of mind pure vision of the intergalactic road ahead...Exodus may call upon you to leave your chair... To Dance!

Now its done the 'Extras' Flash backs begin slowly for a few seconds then back to festival levels of speed of memory and intensity. This is a film of very few meems, a film that can be seen around the world with out the need for translation in Bosnia, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Shamerica, Madagascar, India, Switzerland, Transilvania, Bolivia, Holland, Turkmenistan, Sweden, Mars and possibly even in Brisbane.

The Film-maker

This film although time wise is not a documentary and the style is not of pure film clips, this is an exploration of the ghost dancing experience from the minds eye, staying in places that other festival films only haunt, a musical back beat through to the other side of reality.

These gatherings were multi-dimensional, extra-sensory, multi media happenings. A special blend of hippy aesthetic, bush logic, beautiful country, massive rocks, lakes, local animals, performers, local and global music, psychedelics, visuals, fire twirling mobs, psychonauts and shaman. In the high country of Australia and interface to universality, sustained derangement of the senses leaving one in the ecstatic trance dance, sonic driving sound track.

Nic Touches Clouds VJ-DJ and Film Maker from the Byron Bay and beyond region, spent two years in production with four years of animations coming together in a unique mix of visions. This is a psychedelic trance session aid, an ode to the all nighters, true to the experience of being there, non verbal and timeless. alien to the well trodden path...
