... or 'Nachtvolk', were here long before there was a mankind. Their big odd eyes could not handle sunlight so they lived only after the sun had set. They knew no happiness norsorrow as they had no beating heart, no veins for blood to run through. 0ne day a travelling sound would resonate their cave and their chest. Their stone skin would shed whilst the resonating pulse would become their beating heart.
