Techno pioneers Eat Static celebrate 20 years in the business this year and to celebrate are re-releasing their Mesmobeat albums. The first re-issue is their debut album 'Prepare Your Spirit', a double disc.

The album was originally released in 1992 on Eat Static's own 'Alien' imprint as a cassette only release, and was never commercially available (copies were sold at gigs and via mail-order) In 2001 due to huge demand from the band's fanbase, the long deleted album was finally given a proper release on double CD with new cover art and four previously unreleased tracks (the last 2 tracks on each CD) increasing the number of tracks on the album to 19.
