'The missing link of the trance world'
Max Maxwell's album may have come out a long time ago but he has an amazingly strong band of devotees who will doubtless be happy to hear that it is finally available outside of New Zealand.
Influenced by both his many trips to Goa and trance parties all over the world, plus the amazingly beautiful bay in which he lives, at the beginning of this decade Max created an album of sunkissed dance music: a fusion of psy trance, downbeat, world music and the blues. Featuring local guitar legend Ron Valente on guitar, as well as Jules Evans from Western Rebel Alliance (Twisted Records), Continuous Play appeals to the heart and the head as well as your feet - conscious dance music if you like.
Undoubtedly this is not an album for the modern trancefloor but it still has a place in one's musical life: for warming up before a party, chilling out when you get back or just for one of those days when the sun is shining and everything feels great and+9786;
