Suns of Arqa are without doubt the pioneers of global fusion.Creator and mentor Wadada has been at the forefront of all the shifts in the underground dance scene.The 1979 album REvenge of the Mozabites, produced by Adrian Sherwood was a good then years before its time.

Suns of Arqa's later collaborations with 808 State and Guy Called Gerald were the beginnings of Acid house, that later mutated into Jungle and drum and bass.
